Although the melting point of the pure substance is given as 22.5 to 23.8C, there is evidence that it exists in a technically pure form as a liquid. Because the results do not meet the criteria for inclusion in Class 6.1, the substance was reclassified to Class 9, UN No. 3082.

In the State variation of Germany DE 5 (ICAO TI or DEG 05 IATA DGR), it is specified that all substances classified as "environmentally hazardous" in accordance with the provisions of other modes of transportation (UN3077/3082) must also be transported by air under this entry. Of course, this classification can be chosen only if the substance cannot be assigned to any entry of Classes 1-8 or any other entry of Class 9. The consignor reserves the right to make further specifications.
